HOW TO GET INVOLVED
There are many ways you can help 3rd Space and visitors.
If you can spare some time to volunteer, have good-quality goods to donate or you want to put your fundraising skills to excellent use, we’d be keen to chat with you.
If you prefer monetary donations, we will gratefully receive your individual or corporate financial support.
VOLUNTEER
AT THE CENTRE
Volunteers are the heart and soul of 3rd Space. We are always looking for compassionate and dedicated people to join the team for a regular, long term commitment. Volunteers help in a range of roles including:
- Café All-Rounder – kitchen hand and front counter duties
- Receptionist – offering a warm welcome, information and services
- Warehouse Assistant – for those who love organisation and sorting donations
Volunteering is a great way to build community, make friends, develop skills and boost your CV.
We operate 7 days per week and have a flexible roster. If you’re looking for a regular commitment, big or small, we’d love to hear from you!
INVOLVE
YOUR COMMUNITY
If you want to help break the cycle of homelessness but are not able to make a regular commitment, 3rd Space would be honoured to be the recipient of your fundraising efforts. From morning teas to fun runs to employee giving, call or email 3rd Space to make it happen.
MAKE A
FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION
You can always help continue to provide support for people experiencing homelessness by donating today or subscribing to a monthly contribution. Large or small, your donation will make a difference.
We also have a range of sponsorship options for companies looking to provide financial support to 3rd Space. Please contact the team at 07 3254 1144, or email info@3rdspace.org.au to find out more.
DONATE
GOODS
3rd Space relies on donations from the community to support those who access the centre. We welcome donations of good quality practical clothing, travel size toiletries, non-perishable food. The centre has limited storage facilities, so we encourage you to please get in contact to find out current needs and organise a drop off.
