Former Queensland Deputy Premier and Treasurer, Minister for State Development and Trade, Minister for Employment and Economic Development and the Minister for Local Government, Planning and Sport, Andrew was actively and successfully involved in state politics for eight years. He then took on the role of Head of Strategy and Investment at the National Rugby League, where he oversaw corporate strategy and major commercial projects. Andrew was appointed to the role of Chancellor of Griffith University in 2022, becoming the first alumnus to hold the position. He served on the Board of Directors at 3rd Space for several years, and remains an Ambassador for the organisation.
